The technology or product must meet a specific and recognized need. The target clientele must be known so that ID Capital can contact it as part of its due diligence. The value of the product for this clientele must also be easily quantifiable.

Large target market
The product's potential market for both the company and its direct competitors must be at least $100 million over the medium term. The business plan should target the full North American market from the beginning and the European and Asian markets over the medium term.

Entrepreneurs
ID Capital is seeking entrepreneurs who, beyond their expertise in developing their technology or product, also have intimate knowledge of their target markets. The entrepreneur should be supported by a strong team and must be ready to work closely with ID Capital towards the success of the company.

Start-up phase
The ID Capital investment should serve primarily for the initial marketing and sales activities of a new product whose development phase has essentially been completed.
